I went to the PNE today. We were only there for a couple of hours because we didn't play any games or go on any rides. I'm saving the rides for Sept 19 when I get to go for free. Employee Appreciation Day. w00t! FYI: don't use the bathrooms in Playland. Make the trek over to the agridome (or whatever its called), its a lot cleaner, and nowhere near as busy. Also, there are separate urinals so you're not just peeing against the wall.
Top Five Favourite Things About the PNE:
1. MarketPlace (formerly known as the Showmart)
2. Those Li'l Donuts
3. Foot Long Hot Dogs
4. Corn Dogs (even though you can get these anywhere, they just seem better at the PNE)
5. Cotton Candy (don't eat too much of it though, you'll get a stomach ache. Also, the pink stuff is better than the blue)
Top Five Least Favourite Things About the PNE:
1. The washrooms
2. too much tempting junk food
3. too expensive - and getting more expensive every year
4. those funky animal smells
5. all the snot-nosed punks walking around (I used to be one of those!)
Anyway, you should check out the PNE. Its still neat to go see the different stuff, and if you like to people-watch, this is the place to be!
