I'm finally making progress with the whole car situation. I emailed a mechanic in New West the other day and asked roughly how much it would cost to make my car safe. He emailed me back with a rough guideline and when I called him he gave me a good idea of what I would be spending. It looks like it'll cost me anywhere between $1000-$3000. I made an appointment on Monday to drop off my car with him. So starting on Monday, I won't have a car for a few days. This is what you'll hear from me, "No, I can't go. No car." and "Hey, can you pick me up?" I'll let you know how bad the situation is with the car...
